Nikki is skilled in addressing problems related to depression, anxiety, ADHD, impulsivity, anger management, and interpersonal conflict. She incorporates evidence-based approaches such as Interpersonal Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to assist clients in improving social and family relationships, self esteem, communication, and problem solving skills.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Nikki is a Master’s level clinician with experiences as an outpatient mental health therapist, substance abuse counselor, and case manager. She previously worked with children and families providing in-home services such as IIC, parent coach, and behavioral assistant.
Nikki engages the clients from a person – centered perspective, embodying empathy and non-judgement. She facilitates self-reflection, assisting clients to gain insight into maladaptive thoughts and behaviors. Nikki believes in empowering clients to make positive changes and build self-efficacy in coping with challenges.
