Sachristy Arakelian

Sachristy received her MSW from Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts. She has clinical experience working in a private practice setting with several individuals and couples to facilitate growth, empowerment, and healing. Sachristy specializes in couples work with areas of specialty including infidelity, communication conflict, balance, intimacy, and boundaries. Additionally, she has experience working with couples and individuals that are exposed to unique stressors due to military deployment and first responder occupations. Sachristy also has experience working with individuals that are afflicted by anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and difficult life adjustments.
Sachristy is passionate about accepting clients where they are at in their journey, both personally and on a therapeutic level. Her approach often includes collaboration with the clients’ support team to facilitate a holistic understanding of the client to better tailor sessions to their needs and goals. She utilizes a strengths-based and client-centered approach, determining the best practice method(s) for the individual(s) while understanding that they are the expert on themselves. Some of the common practice methods used by Sachristy include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, internal family systems therapy, and motivational interviewing. With a collaborative approach, Sachristy helps clients navigate the new, and sometimes daunting process of therapy.
