Sarah Strader

Sarah is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor who has provided therapy in various settings: a private practice, an “Extended Day Treatment” program for youth and families, in home services and group home/residential treatment centers. Sarah has worked closely with children, adolescents and families who have experienced a variety of different traumas (i.e. neglect, emotional, physical, and sexual abuse). Sarah understands the importance of empowering parents as well as their children. Sarah endeavors to see through the clients’ lens and encourages self-exploration and confidence.
Sarah offers a non-judgmental therapeutic atmosphere so that clients can feel safe to explore past experiences and thought patterns that may be holding them back from enjoying the life they want to live. Sarah engages clients from a person centered approach and utilizes her training in strength based techniques such as Trauma Focused-CBT and Nurtured Heart approach to help empower clients to get to where they want to be.
Sarah has experiences treating depression, anxiety, symptoms related to trauma, as well as relationship/family challenges and substance use. Sarah specializes in telehealth sessions, offering confidential and secure video/chat to clients who cannot access our office due to being homebound or having limited availability.
