Victoria Puzyk is a Therapist Intern at Cognitive Change, working under supervision while pursuing her Master’s degree and Ed.S. in Professional Counseling at Seton Hall University. Her training includes advanced clinical coursework and field experience in crisis intervention, advocacy, and evidence-based care, supporting her path toward licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey. She is an active member of The American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA), American Counseling Association (ACA), The International Association of Marriage and Family Counselors (IAMFC) and The International Association for Resilience and Trauma Counseling (IARTC).
Victoria is committed to creating a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe, heard, and empowered. She works with adolescents, adults, and older adults, and has a strong interest in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, PTSD, generational trauma, grief, life transitions, ADHD, behavioral concerns, relationship and family conflict, body image issues, eating disorders, and perinatal mental health challenges. She also has a special interest in working with couples, families, and marital concerns.
Her approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. Victoria draws from CBT, REBT, interventions, and trauma-informed care to help clients build insight, strengthen coping skills, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.
