I’m Marnie, a dedicated and compassionate counselor with a Counseling degree from Kean University. For nearly 20 years, I have worked with children, adolescents, and families within the school system, gaining a deep understanding of the social, emotional, and developmental challenges individuals face across the lifespan. My therapeutic style is rooted in a person-centered approach, where I prioritize creating a safe, supportive, and trusting environment. I incorporate elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and solution-focused techniques to help clients build insight, develop effective coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change.
I support clients who are navigating emotional and psychological challenges. I believe that the foundation of effective therapy is acceptance and empathy, allowing clients to feel genuinely seen and heard. I am passionate about fostering personal growth and helping individuals identify and challenge negative core beliefs that may be holding them back. My goal is to empower clients to build resilience, gain clarity, and move forward with greater confidence and purpose.
